The structure of Delta de l'Ebre

La Barraca
It’s a typical House of the delta de l’ebre, it is made of wood, barron (borró) and calcium.
The piles or columns, which are on the cente and endure the structure are made of trunk, and the laterals also. The roof is made of barron.
And it is painted with calcium, which gives white colour to the House, and it makes hygienical.

Beam Bridge
Material: wood and beam
Loads: live loads.
Forces: When something pushes down on the beam, the beam bends. Its top edge is pushed together, and its bottom edge is pulled apart. And to strengthen it, they can build deep piles.

Cross Bracing
There is a cross bracing. We put the cross bracing to protect the structure of wind load.
